The Korean Zalman has announced a power supply designed for demanding users, the Zalman ZM1250 Platinum. As the name suggests, the ZM1250 Platinum provides a constant power of 1.250W, which is backed by an efficient 80 Plus Platinum, resulting in energy efficiency of up to 93%. Other important features is that it complies with ATX v2.3, SSI-EPS v2.93, and ErP Lot6 2010.

The ZM1250 Platinum uses two 12V asymmetric lines with a minimum output of 45A, ATX connectors, CPU / EPS and a large number of SATA, Molex and Berg connectors, all these are connected in a modular fashion. The most powerful 12V line provides 65A a with a PCIe 6 +2 pin connector which allows the use of any graphics card on the market without power supply problems. Uses a complete LLC circuit with a DC-DC module supported by Japanese capacitors.
The features are complemented by a cooling system that revolves around a 140 mm fan. Its expected price is around 280 euros.
