Viber now available for download for Blackberry and Windows Phone

Yesterday was a day of intense developments in terms of applications. First off we had the Android APP, APK Flipboard. Later we learned of the Google application, Google Plus for IOS and finally the release of Viber not only for the Blackberry, which was anticipated for many months but for Windows Phone.

You can download it Viber for free, Viber is an application for Blackberry and Windows Phone and is available in their respective app stores.

Note that in both cases we are talking about a beta version, which means that there are still VoIP calls enabled, which draws much attention as to the official version that currently only allows for chatting one might assume that it is taking unnecessarily long after the release of Android applications and iPhone.

The Blackberry version also integrates with Blackberry Messenger, which can perform a cross-talk but our Blackberry contacts don’t have to Viber installed on their phones.

To download both applications you have to go to AppWorld in the case of RIM and the Windows Marketplace in the case of a Windows Phone.

Did you expect this application ? or as of now we can not make calls with it or is WhatsApp more than enough ?
