The new generation of Google TV is already very close, and some STBs are beginning to appear in the United States for reserve. This is the case with Sony’s latest media player based on Android, the NSZ-GS7, a Google TV box first was seen during the first consumer electronics show of the year, CES 2012 in Las Vegas, which is know for its features of its full-remote control system. Sony’s machine is listed at retailers such as J & R as a relatively interesting device with high-end 3D support, for $199.
This is Sony’s response to criticisms against Google TV, and the failure of first-generation devices such as Logitech Revue with all new renovated hardware, with the advantages of Google TV 2.0 as access to a catalog of applications from Google Play Store. But the most interesting aspect of this Sony NSZ-GS7 is its remote, which integrates a QWERTY keyboard and Full trackpad , very useful not only for navigation menus of GTV but also through the web browser included in the operating system. But with three control methods is better than one, the STB from Sony that relies on Android can be controlled also by gyroscope moves as well with integrated remote control and voice commands through its integrated microphone.
The exact specifications of the box is not yet known despite being already in standby, with a release date “during the summer,” but once “leaked” it will not be long until we know the most intimate details about Sony Google TV NSZ-GS7.
