See the difference between the Nexus 7 and Nexus 9

The Nexus is the latest from Google and it features an 8.9 inch screen and comes loaded with Android 5.0 Lollipop, this particular tablet is in direct competition with Apple’s iPad Air 2.

From first sight we can see the Nexus 9 most striking feature, the screen size; the Nexus 9 tablet stands with its 9-inch screen over the Nexus 7 of just 7 inches. But in this respect, although the display of the Nexus 9 is larger, the number of pixels per inch is 281 versus 323 of the Nexus 7.

But let’s talk about money … one of the most striking difference between the two tablets, the difference is 2 inches of screen; the price does make a difference. The Nexus 7 can get be bough at most technology specialty stores for $175; while the Nexus 9 currently can be purchased at the Google Play Store for $399.

In the event we consider the Nexus 9 higher than Nexus 7, and justify the difference in price; is in the processor. The Nexus 9 tablet has a processor based on a 2.3 GHz NVIDIA Tegra K1 dual-core 64-bit core, while the Nexus 7 processor is a 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro quad-core. The rear camera is also superior in the Nexus 9 (8 megapixels) vs all (5 megapixels) of the Nexus 7. The RAM in both tablets is 2GB (no difference).

Storage space (internal memory) for both tablets is the same; (choice between 16GB or 32GB) for Nexus 9 or Nexus 7.
