QNAP has released a new update for its HD Station 2.0 software, modernizing the user interface to have a layout favorable to tablets, improving safety and adding new applications, including the renowned music player and Mozilla Firefox DeaDBeeF included.
The redesigned user interface gives a style for users with tablet, gives users instant access to applications available, allowing easy access and of course set on your home screen. Also you can now customize the desktop background. QNAP has also added an extra point of security by allowing enabled user authentication with access credentials to access the NAS data via HDMI.
Withing the new QNAP applications included in version 2.0 of HD Station is DeaDBeeF music player, supports almost all existing audio formats and noted for use little resource consumption. Mozilla Firefox is also compatible with hardware acceleration that directly benefits from the power of the Turbo NAS. On the other hand, applications like XBMC with HD DVD, multimedia and permissions management and online Clementine music player are also integrated in this new version.
HD Station 2.0 is now available for owners of devices NAS QNAP Turbo NAS TS-x51, TS-x53 Pro, TS-x70 and TS-x69.
