Palit GeForce GTX 770 OC: Promises a 7% additional performance

Palit has announced today the launch of its new GeForce GTX 770 OC, which according to the manufacturer provides up to 7% additional performance in DirectX 11 (the benchmark been conducted with Unigine Heaven v2.5 noAA/4AF). But the best part of this video card is that they have used copper chokes and DrMOS to provide a wide range of overclocking features, and if we add its great triple sink fan it could easily become a favorite of overclockers and enthusiasts.

A 7% increase in performance over the generic model may not look that much, but keep in mind that these values are provided to its factory settings, leaving ample room for each user to make their own overclock if they want. According to Palit, these are the advantages:

  •      Increase by up to 7% performance under DirectX 11.
  •      7 Gbps memory speed, the fastest seen before.
  •      Innovative design of Palit.
  •      Copper base.
  •      6 phase PWM in 2-phase core memory.
  •      DrMOS: greater energy efficiency.
  •      Best overclocking performance.
  •      Sink 2 slots ready for 3-way SLI configurations.
  •      Specific Overclock Utility: Thunder Master.
  •      Better thermal design with lower noise level.
