According to Cult of Mac, iOS 8.2 beta 5 is now at the hand of developers. This can only be good news to those waiting to hear news about Apple Watch as the new beta 5 features new changes for the device. Apple Watch is scheduled for an April 17 release.
The latest WatchKit has amongst its features a method for developers to modify Settings bundles that will be later used in special extensions.
Other features include WiFi calling for T-Mobile users.
iOS 8.2 beta 5 has not fixed all of the issues that are present with WatchKit, but there’s still some time left before iOS 8.2 needs to be released in perfect shape.
WatchKit updates are at the core of the latest version of iOS 8.2, but they are not the only things found in the update.
Apple has also mentioned changes to WiFi calling for T-Mobile users in the iOS 8.2 beta 5 release notes. When the software is fully available, users should be able to activate WiFi calling in the Settings area.
It is suspected Apple will release iOS 8.2 for everyone in either March or April in order to have WatchKit support fully available for the release of the Apple Watch.
