Netgear has now added a new router with a VDSL / ADSL modem, combined with a wireless router that works in two frequency bands (2.4 and 5 GHz). In addition, the Netgear D6400 router has five Gigabit Ethernet ports and two USB 2.0 ports.
According to the manufacturer, the new product is intended for large homes, where it is necessary to provide access to the internet of ten or even more devices, including smartphones, laptops, tablets, desktops, game consoles, TVs and Blu-Ray players.
TheD6400 has a built-in modem that supports VDSL and ADSL2 +. The capacity of the wireless router is 1.6 Gb / s, and for wired PC’s it has gigabytes ports that provide connection speeds up to 1 Gbit / s. Inside its package it includes the Netgear genie home management.software.
Product dimensions are 191 x 198,5 x 65 mm, its recommended price of new Netgear D6400 is 159 euros.
