Microsoft Word 2013 doesn’t allow to revert to an earlier version of a document

Those who have used prior versions of Microsoft Word are accustomed to having multiple versions of a word file at hand, allowing us to switch between them.

All this has changed in Word 2013, Microsoft has decided to only allow a limited amount of reverts, instead the company has opted for users to instead use the AutoSaved features of a Word file, as well as going back to the original file with no changes made. However users are not allowed to create new versions of a document.

The best way to keep track of your Word file revisions is to just make backups and save them to your hard disk.
