The TVs have been one of the strengths of the South Korean, which is now ready to present its first Smart TV with the WebOS platform over the next Consumer Electronics Show.
The information comes from the statements of an LG executive who claims that South Korea is working on a TV using the WebOS platform, which would be introduced next January. So eventually LG would benefit the HP platform it purchased few years ago.
This new TV comes with new specs as those found on upper-middle range smartphones to excel. Some of the leaked features we can find include a dual core processor at 2.2 GHz and 1.5 GB of RAM to provide a good multitasking system.
The arrival of WebOS to televisions would be a strong commitment from LG for its biggest rival Samsung, which is another strong South Korean company. So at CES 2014 we will have many new gadgets.
