Kobo’s new 6.8″, $170 Aura HD ereader get it this month

Kobo has introduced a new upper-end e reader with attractive technical specs which may trigger buyer’s remorse in many Kindle Paperwhite owners. Called the Kobo Aura HD, this 6.8-inch device carries an E Ink Pearl HD display using a image resolution of 1440×1080, which works out to 265 PPI — greater than the Paperwhite’s 212 PPI, the Simple Touch’s 166 PPI as well as almost every other e readers we have seen lately.
