Redsn0w 0.9.15b3 helps tethered jailbreak and works for for iPhone 5, iPhone 4S, iPad 2, iPad 3, iPad 4, iPad Mini and iPod, iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS, iPod Touch 4G and jailbreak for Touch 5G is not possible.

Download Redsn0w 0.9.15b3
and extract the zip file by right clicking.
You’ll now find redsn0w.exe file, start the file. Windows users ought to run Redsn0w as ‘Administrator’.
Click the Extras button.
Click on “Select IPSW” button. Browse through to select the iOS 6.0 firmware file.
From your main page of Redsn0w and then click “Jailbreak” button.
You’ll receive a screen to place your device in DFU Mode.
* Maintain down Power (corner) button for 5 seconds.
* Without releasing the Power button, also press down the Home (bottom center) button combined with the Power button for Around 10 secs.
* While not releasing the home button, stop holding down the power button for approximately 15 seconds.

To start in tethered-mode
Start Redsn0w again.
Click on Extras button >> Choose IPSW button and navigate to your device iOS 6 firmware after which simply click Just Boot button. Put your device in DFU mode again. Once your device is in DFU mode it’s going to boot right into a Jailbroken state.
Your device is jailbroken running on iOS 6.1 Beta 2.
