The upcoming CPU will no doubt have its fans thanks to its 10 cores.

According to Techfrag [via] the 10-core Core i7 6950X has been seen on eBay being for almost $1800 dollars. The good news is you will not need to buy a new motherboard for this processor since it will fit any X99 chipset compatible with socket LGA2011-v3. If you already have X99, you can start using the processor, a BIOS update.
Last week, Intel’s upcoming flagship Broadwell-E CPU, the 10-core i7-6950X, was spotted listed on eBay for $1750. Well the update on that listing is that Core i7-6950X is now sold, not for its listed price–but, for a whopping $1950. That’s right, one fellow has paid this exorbitant price so that they could test the chip out before launch.
