We knew that processors Intel Core i3 Ivy Bridge were about to come out, in fact, Intel said its intention where to release them before the end of the month of June. But so far has done so in some aspects, because they have released two processors Core i3 Ivy Bridge for laptops.
The third generation of Intel Core processors Ivy Bridge is one step away from complete, because until now they have released models for the Core i7 and Core i5 for both desktops and laptops. Missing was for models in the range of Core i3 , but Intel has already released the first two models for laptops. Intel Core i3 Ivy Bridge for notebook computers that have been released are the Core i3-3217U and the Core i3-3110M.
The Core i3-3217U model has two cores running at a speed of 1.8Ghz and also has HyperThreading technology, by which is capable of executing up to four process threads. It has 3MB of L3 cache, support for DDR3-1600Mhz RAM, HD 4000 integrated graphics and a TDP of only 17W, so this is a processor that will go mainly to Ultrabooks.

We also have the Core i3-3110M, in this case its operating speed goes up to 2.4Ghz and like its predecessor, has HyperThreading technology. Additional features include 3MB of L3 cache, support for DDR3-1600Mhz RAM and HD 4000 graphics. It has a TDP of 35W, so that its fate will be designed for entry-level media laptops.
