In spite of the multiple problems that are arising to the iPhone X, Apple may be planning for next year to release an all new line up of new iPhone X models.
According to Ming-Chi Kuo of KGI Securities, Apple is gearing up to release the iPhone X in 2018 in three sizes of different screens. All would keep the top notch of the screen, although some users would disagree, and others find it attractive.
Some rumors suggest Apple would call this the iPhone XI, with screen sizes of 5.8 inches as the iPhone X with a pixel density of 458 PPP and would be OLED, the other model could come with a 6.1 inch screen with lower resolution and IPS type screen with 320 to 330 PPP, and the last would be a 6.5 inch model with an OLED screen with 480 to 500 PPP.
Kuo believes that the supercycle of the iPhone would actually take place next year, meaning a situation in which buyers of the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus will be looking to renew their phones, creating a supercycle of sales. With the change from OLED to IPS screen in the 6.1-inch model, Kuo predicts a price for this device could reach $649 to $749.
