HTC Hima, is the successor to the HTC One M8 with a 64-bit processor?
As we approach the beginning of 2015, new developing rumors have come out about the latest ‘flagship’ phones that will arrive in the first half of 2015. It already appears that the Galaxy S6 is set to be announced any day now, HTC does not want to go away and we have several candidates to succeed the great HTC One M8 that came out a few months ago: HTC Hima.
This was revealed via Upleaks via its Twitter account that in just 140 characters provided a genuine review of technical specifications which they say will be the successor to the HTC One M8.
For the first time in the top end of Taiwanese phone makers, comes a 64-bit CPU, namely a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 octa-core with four cores running at 2GHz and the other four at 1.5. That is, a real animal as far as efficiency and performance is concerned.
But that’s not all. Besides the processor, the HTC Hima comes with a five-inch screen with HD resolution, ie 1,920 × 1,080 pixels, 3GB of RAM, main camera and one front 20,7MP, according to upleaks could vary between a of 13MP and other with Ultrapixel 4. definitely a true titan to take ‘selfies’ in stunning quality. Finally, the HTC Hima would have a 2,840 mAh battery and come installed with Android 5.0 Lollipop with Sense 7.0.
Date to presentation and / or release? Well it seems that we’ll find out officially the existence of this HTC Hima for the CES in Las Vegas, to be held from January 6 to 9 and its release date could be set for March.
Does anyone actually really think this HTC Hima will succeed the HTC One M8? Since it comes with some serious hardware, but, do not you surprised that they have not made the leap to the QHD screens? Or do you believe that 2K for a smartphone still necessary?
