When we start file browser of archives within the classic desktop, we’ll see in view only a few folders, and our system icons(as if combining our user folder and our “System” view). This can be annoying, since many are active users of this feature.
We can more or less activate this feature rather easily from the configuration file browser. To do so, follow these steps:
- Open the file browser
- We go to the “View” tab in the Ribbon
- Click on the “Options” button
- Finally activate the checkbox, labeled “Show Libraries”
Another option that would be quicker, is to press the “Navigation Pane” button and click “Show libraries.”
If you followed these steps you will now have access to your libraries, and will be open by default when we open explorer. -+++++++The functionality remains almost intact from Windows 7.
