One of the problems that we often find in the world of blogs is that many people will steal your content without giving you a link back to your site not only is it a unwritten law that you should mention the author and acknowledge the amount of time that author has taken to write the article or content by encouraging the author to write more useful content
apart from copying content from another site and publishing it in another blog, today will not help you at all in fact it will go against you in front of Google due to creating duplicate content and your ranking will suffer quite rapidly I might add. But that is another story
What can you do to prevent from your content getting stolen or that at least the perpetrators don’t do it again there are various options and one that I find interesting is this.
1. Write a post on something that interests you.
2. With a program to edit images such as Photoshop create a small transparent gif without any height or size save it under a name in your server as example save it as revenge.gif then inserted it in a post one option is using this code below
<img src=”http://www.yourpage.com/revenge.gif”>
4. When someone copies your content they usually do it copying a and pasting your entire content of your post and without knowing they will also copy this small transparent gif.
5. To scare any webmaster all you have to do is copy the gif to your post so that this small blank square mentioned in the post will show a large image were the readers of that blog will see the image and be embarrassed.
