“Healthbook” is said to be the Apple iOS health monitor coming in August
According to a leak , the entire system will monitor users levels of sleep, nutrition, hydration, blood pressure and even blood sugar, among many others.
Few days ago we learned about the leak of the first images of iOS 8, ??the new Apple operating system , which included several new features in its interface. The highlight: ” Healthbook “, a comprehensive platform for measurement and monitoring of physical activity of the user, which consisted of a series of cards with various categories available.
And today, the site 9to5Mac displayed a new series of images with enough information about the system operation. There will be a file with health metrics ranging from nutrition, cardio rate, blood pressure and levels of sleep, producing statistics that tell us whether we are in the correct weight or should we do more physical activity, along with a special tab for medical emergencies that will store user name, date of birth, drug information, eye color, blood type, organ donor status and location.
Although most of these applications can now be viewed on other devices, here is what the set Apple away from the rest, with several monitors not seen before: Hydration, respiratory rate, oxygen saturation in the blood and blood sugar. How will they achieve this ? Perhaps the answer is in the M7 sensor already included in the iPhone 5S and the smart watch iWatch, that is yet to be announced.
