For those who are testing Windows 8 Release Preview, Intel and NVIDIA have released drivers specifically designed for this edition of Windows 8 that was released some weeks ago.
Intel has released Beta drivers for its integrated graphics Intel HD Graphics 4000/3000/2500/2000 (Sandy Bridge & Ivy Bridge), they carry the 15.28.0.64.2770 version number and support Display Driver Model Version 1.2 (WDDM 1.2), that enable features such as optimized 3D stereoscopic display rotation detection, among other features, though Intel recommends using their Windows 7 drivers for OpenGL 3.3 applications.
Meanwhile NVIDIA has also released its GeForce 308.80 drivers their WHQL certification the first to get “Windows Hardware Quality Labs” and comes with support for graphics cards series GeForce 6, 7, 8, 9, 100, 200, 300 , 400, 500, 600 series and ION series. These drivers also support the new driver model 1.2 of Windows 8 (Windows display driver model WDDM 8 1.2).
