Gigabyte shows the G1.Assassin 3 motherboard during the IDF 2013






During IDF 2013 (Intel Developer Forum) which is being held in San Francisco, Gigabyte has shown the Gigabyte G1. Assassin 3 for the LGA 2011. The successor to the G1.Assassin 2 is equipped with the X79 chipset has 8 slots for DDR3 RAM and features the AMP-UP Audio technology.

The Gigabyte G1.Assassin 3 comes in ATX format and is intended in principle for the new Ivy Bridge-E processors. This board has a voltage regulator of 9 phases and requires the use of a 24-pin ATX connector and one 8 EPS connector. The G1.Assassin 3 has a total of 8 DDR3 memory slots, 4 slots on each side of the socket. It has 4 SATA ports 3 and 4 SATA 2.Gigabyte-G1.Assassin-3

 

Gigabyte motherboard incorporated AMP-UP technology that allows the user to change the OP-Amp, this technology you’ve already seen in previous models, and is fitted with a sound chip Creative Sound Core3D. The G1.Assassin 3 comes with 802.11ac WiFi connectivity, Bluetooth 4.0, dual Gigabit Ethernet, six USB 3.0 ports and multiple USB 2.0.

It also incorporates USB DAC-UP feature a gold-plated USB port to provide clean power with less noise. It has 4 PCI-Express 3.0 x16 which allow the installation of a system with up to 4 GPUs, (supports 4-Way CrossFireX & 4-Way SLI).
