Gigabyte releases its F2A85X-UP4 motherboard

Now we know the prices of the APU “Trinity” it can give us an idea of how cheap it will build a FM2 platform. If you’re looking for options it may be worth while to look a the flagship motherboard Gigabyte has prepared. The board in question is the F2A85X-UP4, comes with an A85X FCH Chipset and Ultra Durable 5 design, which adds an additional 2oz copper PCB, one coated fiberglass in each layer of the PCB, and uses solid state capacitors and ferrite core coils with high density.

The motherboard has 8-phase based power circuit, has four slots for DDR3-2400 + MHz that can support up to 32GB, has three PCIe 2.0 x16 slots with CrossFireX support, which are configured in x16/NC/NC, or x8/x4/x4 x8/x8/NC, a PCIe 2.0 x1 and PCI.

In connectivity options by its Chipset A85X FCH delivers eight SATA 6Gbps ports (seven internal and one external) and one eSATA, six USB 3.0 ports (four rear and two inside).
