If you’re on a tight budget, but would like to play PC games at 1080P there are two cards making some noise the Gigabyte GTX 950 Xtreme and the EVGA GTX950 FTW.
Right off the bat we can see that the Gigabyte GTX 950 Xtreme pulls of a few extra clocks over the EVGA GTX950. Even in stock clocks the Gigabyte is faster.
Once again the Gigabyte GTX 950 Xtreme beats the EVGA GTX950 in terms of graphics scores in the 3DMark Firestrike Benchmark utility.
In Battlefield 4, the Gigabyte GTX 950 Xtreme comes out on top again, hitting 73 FPS.
In Crysis 3, the Gigabyte GTX 950 Xtreme edges out the EVGA GTX950 with a few extra FPS.
In GTA V, the Gigabyte GTX 950 Xtreme also comes on top with 60 FPS in High Settings.
In the Metro Last Light Benchmark Utility, the Gigabyte GTX 950 Xtreme is also the top card, with 56 FPS.
When it comes to Core Temps, the EVGA GTX950 runs cooler however, but not by much and you won’t really notice it affecting the card or while in gaming.
