DOOM for PC begins Preloading via Steam on May 11

If you live in Australia and want to play DOOM on your PC you’re lucky since you will be the first in the world to play it, on May 11th that is.

DOOM (2016) will be released for PS4, Xbox One and PC is the reboot of the franchise developed by id Software. Edited by Bethesda, this reboot is based on the original DOOM released in 1993. It involves the return of the saga after the release of DOOM 3 in 2004 and the cancellation of the development of DOOM 4.

The new DOOM naturally is once again a FPS (first person shooter). Taking up the essence of the original game, DOOM is said to keep gamers unhedged in frantic action and fautomatic health regeneration, but you have to find first aid kits to recover. Designed by John Carmack, DOOM is set in Mars after an invasion of demons. Players will take control of a marine who will do his best to face off the hordes of hell bound monsters using a varied arsenal of weapons and without skimping on gore content, thank god.

DOOM has a main campaign mode as well as online multiplayer action with different game modes. It also includes a map editor, called SnapMap, to create our multiplayer levels. DOOM goes on sale on May 13 internationally in physical and digital format. In addition, DOOM has a collector’s edition.
