In late last month we heard news about the new CM 690 III from Cooler Master, and now we can finally announce its release date in Europe: the CM 690 III will be available in stores later this month.
The CM 690 III Cooler Master aims to be the new flagship of the company as far as usability is concerned. While it is a case that would be included in its medium to high end products line, still maintains its iconic design that has made this case (counting variants) the bestselling Cooler Master, and that is not something taken lightly.
Cooler Master’s designers have done great engineering work to add several improvements in this case without going to far to change its design. Yes, the interior has been completely changed to add a “combo” for SSDs and mechanical drives 2.5 and 3.5 inches. You can install up to 10 SSD’s (or 2.5-inch drives) including a mounting point at the rear of the motherboard. If you do not need this case for that many hard drives that attachment can be removed for greater interior space. Even so, the CM 690 III supports graphics cards up to 423 mm in length and a 171 mm sink height. Of course the whole case requires no tools for installation.
As we mentioned, will be available in stores across Europe including later this month at a suggested retail price of 89 euros, with a variant with transparent plastic window instead of an option for fans on the side with a cost of 95 euros in total.
