ASUS G55VW-DS71 ready to pre-order, Ivy Bridge laptop for gamers

No matter what day Ivy Bridge is launched some retailers have begun to experience the first symptoms of its fever, as is the case HIDevolution.com, as they began placing pre-orders one of the ASUS laptops for gamers, the G55VW-DS71 with 15.6 screen and “equipped with a Core i7-3610M.

The G55VW-DS71 has a 15.6 “FullHD, NVIDIA GeForce graphics card that features a GTX 660m with 2GB of memory, supports up to 16GB of RAM, and you can choose between HDD, HDD or SSD as a storage medium.

It also offers 802.11n WiFi connectivity, Bluetooth 4.0 and Gigabit Ethernet, card reader 8-in-1, 2MP webcam, USB 3.0, Thunderbolt connector, HDMI video output, an 8-cell battery, and comes preloaded with Windows 7 (Home Premium or Ultimate).

Its base price is U.S. $1475.
