Chiphell has leaked a series of pictures in which it is supposedly shows the performance of the AMD Radeon R9 3XX.
AMD is seriously intending to regain the title as the number one video card.Radeon R9 3XX, that is expected in the second quarter of 2015, the manufacturer has a good reason for optimism, as well for those die hard AMD fans.
While we caution that these results may not be accurate, so take it with a grain of salt.
In the benchmarks below you can see the performance of an engineering sample of an AMD Radeon R9 3XX (probably correspond to an R9 390X) in 3DMark Fire Strike Extreme, as well as in “games” to measure its consumption and operating temperature .
No doubt that AMD will release an engineering sample of the upcoming AMD Radeon R9 3XX Series and we should report further then.
The improvement over the current NVIDIA flagship is about 35%, and over the Radeon R9 290X – 51%.
By all indications, the GPU will be released on 28-nanometer technology. Because it is clear that energy consumption will not be the future strength of this new AMD video card. However without data on the method of measurement is difficult to define objective indicators obtained.
