4th Gen Apple TV may be shown in WWDC 2015, to include A8 chipset, Siri

Apple TV is back in the news, as sources are saying we could very well see it in action at this years at WWDC in June.

It is widely being speculated that Apple’s 4th generation Apple TV will come with the new A8 chip-set adding more power to the unit the previous models as well we may see a 16GB storage space on the new models not to mention Siri and its very own Apple Store to purchase additional software, and movies.

It would be interesting if you could purchase new TV packages right from the Apple Store as well, some rumours suggest as much. There is a strong indication that ABC, CBS, Fox, ESPN,FX, Discovery, Viacom are set to be included in a TV service deal for Apple customers, with a monthly $30 to $40 fee. This means you will be able to watch your favorite sports teams and TV shows just like you would in a “cable” package,  just don’t expect NBCUniversal to be part of a deal. It is said that Apple could earn $2.4 Billion a year if they go through the “Online” TV streaming route.
